21-String, 24-String, and 27-String Lyre Harps for Sale

When tuning a new lyre (or after replacing nylon/wire strings), you need to tune the strings slowly and repeatedly. This allows them to stretch and adapt to the tension before holding a standard pitch. Due to the initial instability of new strings and the harp frame, it is normal for the strings to loosen and go out of tune within two minutes of tuning.

Please be patient and retune 3 to 5 times during your first session. After about a week of repeated adjustments, the strings will reach a relatively stable state, though minor tuning is still recommended before each play.
